Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: First-year player… joined the Gorillas in August from Coffeyville Community College… a talented cornerback who will look to be an impact performer this fall.

In Junior College: Played one season at Coffeyville C.C. (2014) after signing with the University of Tulsa out of high school… made 25 tackles (15 solo) with six interceptions for the Red Ravens, including two INTs he returned for touchdowns.

At TU: Started eight of 11 games played as a redshirt freshman for Tulsa in 2013… made 52 tackles with four intercetions and eight pass breakups.

In High School: A stand-out prep athlete who played his final two seasons at Bolivar (Mo.) High School (2010-11)… played at Muskogee (Okla.) High School as a sophomore (2009)… earned All-State honors as a wide receiver, defensive back and return specialist his senior season for the Liberators.

Personal: Born August 22, 1994… son of Darnell and Debbie Walker… a communication major.
