General: Enters his second season in the Pitt State program in 2026 after redshirting in his initial campaign.

HS: An Oklahoma Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at Seminole High School … Posted five interceptions and 17 pass breakups his senior season … Also passed for 2,500 yards and rushed for 1,500 yards as quarterback for the Chieftains.

Personal: November 11, 2006 … Son of Roland Garfield and Elizabeth Jim … Named to the MIAA Newcomer Academic Honor Roll with a 3.63 cumulative GPA following the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year as an exercise science major.
