General: First-year player… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program… a promising defensive end prospect… will look to battle for playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In High School: A second-team All-League selection as a junior at Salina South High School in 2012… had his senior season cut short due to injury… Cougars posted a 10-3 record and finished as the Kansas Class 5A state runner-up in 2013.

Personal: Born September 18, 1995… son of Paul Mitchell and Tracy Workman… a biology major.
