Biography


General: Second-year player… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program… a promising wide receiver prospect… made the move from quarterback to wide receiver during spring drills… will look to compete for playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2014: Redshirt season.

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 6A All-State selection and a Kansas Elite 11 honoree (All-State, All-Class) at quarterback as a senior at Garden City High School in 2013… named the Western Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player… accumulated 4,056 yards passing and 2,298 yards rushing with 69 total touchdowns (39 passing, 30 rushing) for the Buffaloes… a Kansas Shrine Bowl participant.

Personal: Born September 13, 1995… son of Robert and Kristi Tempel… a management major.
