Biography


General: Second-year player… served as the Gorillas primary punter in 2012… a strong-legged athlete who figures to handle Pitt State’s punting chores again this fall.

In 2012: Saw action in all 10 games… punted 21 times for a 41.9-yard average… placed four kicks inside the 20 yard line.

In Junior College: Spent one season at Fort Scott CC… caught eight passes for 138 yards (17.3 ypc) and three touchdowns as a true freshman in 2011.

In High School: A stand-out football and track & field athlete at Fort Scott High School… a first-team All-SEK League selection at wide receiver as a senior in 2010.

Personal: Born October 21, 1992… son of Jeff and Pam Knopp… a management major.
