General: Second-year player… redshirted in his first season in the Pitt State program… a promising cornerback prospect… figures to compete for playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2014: Redshirt season.

In High School: A first-team All-Conference and first-team All-District performer as a senior at Lee’s Summit High School in 2013… made 42 tackles with one interception and nine pass breakups… helped the Tigers to a 10-2 record his senior season.

Personal: Born April 28, 1996… son of Sam and Karen Gilkey… a construction management major.
