Biography

General: Third-year player… a promising prospect as an offensive guard… will look to contend for playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2015-16: Did not see any action on the field in 2016, after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program (2015).

In High School: A Kansas Class 3A All-State performer on both sides of the ball as a senior at Anthony-Harper-Chaparral High School in 2014… a first-team All-State offensive lineman and honorable mention All-State defensive lineman… a four-year starter for the Roadrunners.

Personal: Born March 5, 1997… son of Eric and Shaun Helms… an elementary education major.
