Biography


General: Third-year player… a returning All-MIAA performer who is primed for a big junior season… expected to contend for a starting role in the secondary for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2012: Started all 10 games… logged 45 tackles (22 solo) with 4.5 tackles-for-loss, 0.5 quarterback sacks, a team-high eight pass breakups and a forced fumble… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.

In 2011: Started 11 of 14 games… made 55 tackles (23 solo) with 4.0 tackles-for-loss, three interceptions and eight pass breakups… twice logged a career-best eight tackles including in the NCAA-II quarterfinals vs. NW Missouri State (Dec. 3)… returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown vs. the Bearcats in The Fall Classic at Arrowhead X (Oct. 1).

At UNO: Redshirted in his only season with the Mavericks in 2010.

In High School: A Kansas Class 6A All-State performer as a senior at Olathe North High in 2009… helped North capture the 6A state title… also a first-team All-Sunflower League, All-Metro and All-City selection.

Personal: Born January 6, 1992… son of Jerry and Mary Peete… a physical education major.
