In 2016: Started all nine games played… missed the second half of the season opener (vs. UCM) and week two (vs. NSU) and week three (vs. LWU) action due to injury… completed 173 of 295 passes (.586) for 2,496 yards (277.3 ypg) and 19 touchdowns with nine interceptions… also rushed the ball 86 times for 318 yards (3.7 ypc) and four scores … ranked second in the MIAA in passing yards (277.3 ypg) and third in the conference in total offense (312.7 ypg)… set the PSU single-game passing record with 473 yards and four TDs vs. ESU (Oct. 22)… also passed for 373 yards and five TDs vs. MWSU (Oct. 15), completing 22 of 30 passes… rushed the ball 14 times for a season-high 87 yards and two TDs vs. UNK (Nov. 5)… earned third-team All-MIAA honors.
In 2015: Started six games before suffering a season-ending foot injury… completed 94 of 157 passes (.599) for 1,264 yards (210.7 ypg) and nine touchdowns with seven interceptions… also rushed the ball 80 times for 466 yards (5.8 ypc) and a team-leading nine scores… scored a pair of 34-yard touchdown runs on his first two plays from scrimmage in the season opener vs. NSU (Sept. 3)… completed 19 of 21 passes for 204 yards and three TDs vs. LWU (Sept. 12)… rushed 18 times for a season-high 117 yards and two TDs, including the game-winning score, vs. FHSU (Sept. 26)… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors.
At SHSU: Redshirted in his initial season at Sam Houston State in 2013… did not use any eligibility for the Bearkats in 2014.
In High School: The Missouri Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior at Webb City High School in 2012… helped the Cardinals to a 30-0 combined record and back-to-back Class 4A state titles his final two prep seasons as WCHS’s starting quarterback (2011-12).
Personal: Born December 27, 1994… son of John and Heather Roderique… a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.22 GPA as an exercise science major.
