Biography

General: First-year player… enrolled at Pittsburg State in January after transferring from the University of Toledo… a talented cornerback who will look to be an impact performer for the Gorillas this fall.

At UT: Registered eight tackles and an interception for Toledo in 2019… did not play in 2020… redshirted in 2018 after transferring from the College of San Mateo.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at San Mateo… made 24 tackles with nine pass break-ups and three interceptions as a sophomore in 2017.

In High School: A standout prep athlete at Fremont High School… caught 54 passes for 1,171 yards and 10 touchdowns his senior season.

Personal: Born October 6, 1998… son of John Hendy and Patricia Montalvo… an integrated studies major.
