Biography

General: Enters his fifth season in the Pitt State program in 2025 ... A two-time All-MIAA performer at safety, earning first-team honors in 2024 ... One of the premier defensive players in the MIAA and Division II ... Expected to contend for All-MIAA honors and beyond this fall ... For his career he has compiled 77 tackles, 19 PBUs and 10 interceptions.

2024: Started all 11 games … Made 42 tackles (24 solo) with 3.0 tackles-for-loss, 2.0 quarterback sacks, four interceptions and four pass breakups … A first-team All-MIAA selection … Posted a career best eight tackles, an interception and a forced fumble vs. Harding in the NCAA-II playoffs (Nov. 23).

2023: Saw action in 12 games … Posted 35 tackles (26 solo), 6.0 tackles-for-loss and 2.0 quarterback sacks … Also recorded an MIAA leading six interceptions and five pass breakups … Returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown at Northeastern State (Sept. 30).

2022: Did not see any action.

2021: Redshirted.

HS: A first-team Texas Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at La Vega High School in 2020 ... Helped La Vega compile a 23-5 combined record his final two prep years.

Personal: Born June 15, 2003 ... Son of Frederick Rogers Sr. and Lakesha Gray-Rogers … A recreation services, sport & hospitality management major.
