Biography


General: Second-year player… a hard working corner who will look to contend for significant action for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2014: Saw action in nine games in a reserve role at cornerback and on special teams… recorded three tackles (two solo) and one forced fumble on the season.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Hutchinson Community College… helped the Blue Dragons to a 9-3 record during his sophomore season.

In High School: An honorable mention All-City selection at Washburn Rural High School.

Personal: Born July 13, 1993… son of Dewayne and Etoi Purnell… a recreation major.
