Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a hard working defensive end… will look to be an impact performer for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2019-21: Saw action in six games, including two starts, in 2021… made eight tackles (two solo) on the season… saw actionin all four games, including one start, in 2020… made 12 tackles (six solo) with 1.0 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 quarterback sack… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program.

In High School: A stand-out prep performer at Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington High School… made 67 tackles (55 solo) with 30 tackles-for-loss and 15 quarterback sacks as a senior for the Hornets.

Personal: Born April 9, 2001… son of Mahcoe Johnson and Natasha Phillips… a management major.
