Biography

General: Second-year player… a talented veteran safety who will look to be an immediate impact performer for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2020: Saw action in all four games, including one start… made nine tackles (four solo), an interception and a pass break-up.

At BCU: A two-time All-Conference performer at Briar Cliff… made 162 career tackles with six interceptions and 11 pass break-ups in three seasons for the Chargers… posted 58 tackles with three interceptions and three pass break-ups in 2018… made 71 tackles and six PBUs in 2017.

In High School: A first-team All-District performer as a senior at Warren Easton High School in New Orleans in 2016… helped Easton to a 21-4 combined record his final two prep seasons (2015-16).

Personal: Born July 7, 1999… son of Matthew Roby and Dawn Egana… a psychology major.
