Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented cornerback who is primed for a bid senior season… will look to be an impact player for the Gorillas again this fall.

In 2017: Saw action in 11 games, including three starts… made 19 tackles (15 solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 quarterback sack, three interceptions, four pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries… recorded a tackle, two interceptions and a fumble recovery vs. NWMSU (Oct. 28).

In Junior College: A second-team All-Conference selection as a sophomore at Pima Community College… posted 54 tackles with 2.5 TFLs, two interceptions and 15 pass breakups… made 60 tackles and recorded two interceptions as a freshman in 2015.

In High School: An All-State performer as a senior at Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Ariz. in 2013… compiled 99 tackles and four interceptions for the Scorpions.

Personal: Born November 6, 1996… son of Paul Davis and Donnicka Johnson… an exercise science major.
