Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Fourth-year player… a speedy wide receiver who is primed for a breakout junior season… also a talented return specialist for the Gorillas… an All-American sprinter in the Pitt State track & field program.

In 2016: Saw action in all 11 games in a reserve role… caught 12 passes for 207 yards (17.2 ypc)… also averaged 22.2 yards on 31 kickoff returns… caught five passes for a career-high 109 yards vs. ESU (Oct. 22).

In 2015: Saw action in eight games in a reserve role… caught three passes for 27 yards on the season… averaged 27.9 yards on 14 kickoff returns, including a 100-yard return for TD vs. MSSU (Oct. 31)… earned MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week honors against MSSU.

In 2014: Redshirt season.

In Track & Field: Helped the Pitt State 400m relay capture the 2015 MIAA title and earn All-America honors with a third-place finish at nationals… earned All-MIAA honors (3rd) with the 400m relay in 2016… placed fourth in the 200 meters at the 2017 MIAA Indoor Championships.

In High School: An Oklahoma Class 6A All-State selection at wide receiver as a senior at Bartlesville High in 2013… also the District Most Valuable Player … caught 79 passes for 1,376 yards and 14 TDs for the Bruins his senior year… compiled four special teams scores (three PR, one KR).

Personal: Born December 2, 1995… son of Ty and Amy Nordic.… a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete… has a 3.68 GPA as a mechanical engineering technology major.
