Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Fifth-year player… a talented running back who is primed for a big senior campaign... expected to contend the starting tailback role for the Gorillas… a two-year team captain (2012-13).

In 2012: Saw action in seven games… carried the ball 37 times for 126 yards (3.4 ypc) and two touchdowns... also made one catch for 39 yards vs. Lincoln (Sept. 22)... rushed for a season-high 41 yards and one score vs. Southwest Baptist (Sept. 14).

In 2011: Saw action in six games, including one start, before suffering a season-ending knee injury vs. Fort Hays State (Oct. 8)… rushed the ball 14 times for 70 yards and three TDs in a home win vs. Emporia State (Sept. 10)… also scored a touchdown in the season opener vs. Missouri Western (Sept. 1).

In 2010: Saw action in all 12 games with one start… carried the ball 18 times for 107 yards (5.9 ypc) and one touchdown… scored on a 34-yard run on his first collegiate carry vs. Chadron State (Sept. 4)… also had a 42-yard carry vs. Missouri Western (Sept. 25).

In 2009: Redshirt season.

In High School: A three-time Missouri Class 4A All-State performer at Smith-Cotton High School (2006-08)… the Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2008… rushed for 2,345 yards and 39 TDs during his senior season… compiled 5,555 rushing yards with 68 TDs as a four-year starter for the Tigers… a two-time first-team All-State selection (2007-08).
