Biography

General: Second-year player… saw limited action in his initial season in the Pitt State program after transferring from FCS powerhouse North Dakota State University… a promising defensive line prospect… will look to battle for playing time at defensive tackle this fall.

In 2016: Saw limited action for the Gorillas.

At NDSU: Redshirted in his only season at North Dakota State (2015).

In High School: A Missouri Class 2A All-State performer at Lamar High School … helped the Tigers to four consecutive Class 2A state titles (2011-14) … also an All-District basketball player and an All-Conference pitcher in baseball for the Tigers.

Personal: Born July 12, 1996… son of Tom and Liz Mooney… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.64 GPA as a psychology major.
