Biography

General: First-year player… transfers to Pitt State from the University of Kansas… a talented defensive lineman who will look to be an impact player for the Gorillas this fall.

At Kansas: Saw action in all 12 games for the Jayhawks in 2013… made 24 tackles (12 solo), including 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one pass break-up.

In Junior College: Competed two seasons at Trinity Valley Community College… made 32 tackles with 4.0 quarterback sacks and 6.0 tackles-for-loss as a sophomore in 2012.

In High School: A stand-out performer at Weatherford High… a four-year starter for the Bulldogs.
Personal: Born March 3, 1992… son of Alex and Lyedea McKinney… a physical education major.
