Biography


General: Fourth-year player… a versatile athlete who is primed for a big junior season… coming off a solid sophomore season and spring camp… expected to battle for a starting role at linebacker this fall… a 2013 PSU team captain.

In 2012: Saw action in all 10 games, including one start… recorded 43 tackles (19 solo) with 2.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 quarterback sack, one interception, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a blocked kick… tallied a career-high 11 tackles with a forced fumble against Lincoln (Sept. 22).

In 2011: Saw action in 14 games in a reserve role and on special teams… made 17 tackles (11 solo) with 0.5 tackles-for-loss on the year.
In 2010: Redshirt season.

In High School: A two-time All-Eastern Kansas League performer (2008-09) at Blue Valley High... garnered first-team All-League honors as a senior in 2009 after receiving honorable mention accolades his junior season.

Personal: Born June 13, 1992... son of Matt Disney and Diana Smith... a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.49 GPA as an exercise science major.
