Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player… a talented nose guard who is primed for a big senior season… expected to be an impact performer for the Gorillas again this fall… transferred to Pitt State in from Holmes (Miss.) Community College.

In 2016: Started all 11 games for the Gorillas… made 32 tackles (12 solo) with 6.0 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 QB sack… also registered one PBU on the year… made a season-high six tackles vs. WU (Oct. 1).

In Junior College: A standout performer at Holmes Community College… made 40 tackles (23 solo) with 8.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 quarterback sack as a sophomore for the Bulldogs in 2015 … made 20 tackles (12 solo) with 3.5 TFLs as a freshman in 2014.

In High School: A Georgia All-Star prep performer as a senior at Savannah’s Beach High School… earned high school All-America honors as a junior in 2012.

Personal: Born May 25, 1996… son of Willie Cooper and Shannon Biggens… a sociology major.
