Prior to PSU - Played at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, Grand Canyon University and Crowder College during his collegiate career ... In the 2024 season at Corpus Cristi he recorded six saves and while a Roughrider at Crowder had a 7-2 record.

HS - Prepped at Bentonville West High School for coach Chip Durham ... While a Wolverine he was a part of the team that claimed a 6A West conference title on the baseball field.

Personal - Born September 10, 2001 ... Son of Shay and Paul Thornton ... Named to the CSC Academic All-District team while also being selected to the MIAA Newcomer Academic Honor Roll and as a MIAA Scholar Athlete ... At the conclusion of the 2024-25 school year had a 3.73 GPA while pursuing a master's in health human performance and recreation.
