General: Enters her second season in the Pitt State program in 2026 ... An experienced performer on the court, looking to cap off a productive collegiate career this fall.

2025: Started in all 29 matches for the Gorillas, playing in each 109 sets ... Finished the season with 181.5 points (1.67) from 147 kills (1.35), 43 assisted blocks (0.39), 310 digs (2.84) and 13 service aces (0.12) ... Against No. 9 Southwest Minnesota (Sept. 12) came away with a season-high 13 kills, being one of three matches she finished with double figure kill tallies ... In the MIAA Tournament (Nov. 20) against No. 16 Missouri Western, helped record nine assisted blocks a season-high ... Recorded a season-high 21 digs against MWSU in the MIAA Tournament as well.

Prior to PSU: A two-time first-team All-KJCCC performer at Barton Community College for coach Megan Bescker, Nixon finishing her Panther career with 582 kills, 747 digs, 77 total blocks and 71 service aces in 71 matches.

HS: Prepped at Central Plains in Claflin, Kan., where she was a four-year starter on the volleyball court for coach Lisa Crites ... At Central Plains, Nixon accumulated over a thousand career assists, kills and digs on her way to being named the Kansas 1A Player of the Year in 2021 and 2020 and was a three-time All-State performer ... A standout on the basketball court and softball field as well, earning Kansas 1A Player of the Year honors in basketball in 2022 ... Was a three-time All-State performer for softball and basketball at CPHS.

Personal: Born May 4, 2004 ... Daughter of Kristi and Kelly Nixon ... Named to the MIAA Newcomer Academic Honor Roll with a 3.53 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year as a human resource development major.
