PITTSBURG – Pittsburg State University Athletics is pleased to announce a new marketing and sponsor coordination partnership with Peak Sports MGMT.
Peak Sports will manage and sell all sponsorship inventory available through Pittsburg State Athletics. This includes venue signage, video board advertising, program advertising, digital and web content, game sponsorships, and other events and activities.
"When looking into the top NCAA programs at any level, Pittsburg State and the Gorillas are part of that lexicon. We couldn't be more excited to partner with a program like Pitt State in a community like Pittsburg and with the prestige that comes with the Gorillas", Ryan Holloway, President of Peak Sports MGMT, said.
The agreement between Pitt State and Peak Sports MGMT is for five years. The agreement provides Pitt State athletics with a financial guarantee each year with a revenue sharing amount distributed once additional thresholds are met.
Peak Sports MGMT will place two full-time staff members at Pitt State who will fully integrate themselves into the university and the community of Pittsburg and beyond.

Peak Sports will strive to be an extension of an already powerful program", said Cara Holloway, Peak Sports Chief Operating Officer.
"This opportunity with Ryan and Cara and their team could not come at a better time," said Jim Johnson, Director of Athletics, "This partnership will allow us to better serve our partners from a sales, service, and activation standpoint, and will create revenue at a critical time so that we can continue to do our best to keep other costs down for fans."
Johnson added that this partnership also will position the department to allow some staff members to commit time to other other development and fund-raising initiatives.
Peak Sports MGMT is the newest sports management firm in the collegiate space. They are currently partners with six properties including the University of Central Arkansas, Southeastern Louisiana University, Austin Peay State University, West Texas A&M University, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and the Frisco College Baseball Classic.
Pittsburg State University is an NCAA Division II member institution that is located in Pittsburg, Kansas, and competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). The Gorillas field varsity athletic teams in the men's sports of baseball, basketball, cross country, football, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field as well as the women's sports of basketball, cross country, softball, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field and volleyball.
