PITTSBURG – Several Pittsburg State University home events have seen schedule changes this week.

Due to the weekend weather forecast the Pitt State Football Spring Game will now be played indoors in the Robert W. Plaster Center Friday (Apr. 17). There will not be a pre-game Gorilla Walk and food truck have been canceled.

The Gorillas softball team also has moved up its Friday start time to Noon for Pitt State's MIAA doubleheader against Northeastern State University.

Earlier this week, the Pitt State Tune-Up Meet was pushed back a day from Saturday to Sunday (Apr. 19). The meet will start at 10 a.m. Sunday at the new Pitt State outdoor track & field facility.

Finally, the Pitt State baseball team's home contest against Missouri Southern, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. next Wednesday (Apr. 22) has been pushed forward a day. The Gorillas will now host the Lions at 3 p.m. Tuesday (Apr. 21) at Al Ortolani Field.
