Box Score PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University women's basketball team took down No. 21 Missouri Western State University 79-53, Saturday (Feb. 12).
 
The Gorillas were lead by Senior guard Tristan Gegg who finished with 24 points on 9-14 (64.2%) shooting and 3-5 (60%) from beyond the arc. Erin Davis would add 12 points and seven rebounds on the day.
 
The Griffons would finished the day shooting 19-62 (30.6%) and 0-10 from deep. The Griffons leading scorer, Connie Clark, would put up 13 points against the Gorillas.
 
The Gorillas return to action next Wednesday (Feb. 16) to take on Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo.
