EMPORIA, Kan. -- The Pittsburg State University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams wrapped up action at the Emporia State University Relays Saturday (Mar. 26).
In the men's action, Louis Rollins won the 110 meter hurdles in a fast time of 13.85 seconds (PQ), and he added a second-place finish in the 100 meters (10.46, PQ). Konner Swenson won the men's shot put (57-10.5, PQ) and Caleb Calvin won the men's javelin throw with a best mark of 204 feet, 7 inches (PQ). Swenson also placed second in the men's discus throw (163-6), while T.J. Caldwell finished fourth in the 110m hurdles (14.63).
In the women's action, Madison Burt placed second in the 400 meter hurdles (1:03.57), while Madelyn Marquez finished sixth in the 100m hurdles (14.37). Camryn Williams placed third in the women's shot put (43-10.5) and Madison Reese finished fifth in the women's javelin throw (141-1, PQ).
