MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team picked up a crucial 1-0 conference win on Sunday (Oct. 27) over Northwest Missouri State University at the Bearcat Pitch.

With the win the Gorillas improve to 7-6-2 overall and 3-4-2 in MIAA play, increasing the conference point tally to 11 and into eighth place in the standings. For Northwest Missouri they drop to 7-3-6 overall, 5-2-3 in the MIAA and with 18 points are tied for fourth in the conference standings.
