MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team picked up a crucial 1-0 conference win on Sunday (Oct. 27) over Northwest Missouri State University at the Bearcat Pitch.
With the win the Gorillas improve to 7-6-2 overall and 3-4-2 in MIAA play, increasing the conference point tally to 11 and into eighth place in the standings. For Northwest Missouri they drop to 7-3-6 overall, 5-2-3 in the MIAA and with 18 points are tied for fourth in the conference standings.

Sailor Jensen (Murrary, Utah) headed home a far post corner kick taken by senior forward
McKenna Robinson (Butler, Pa.) in the 56th minute to give the Gorillas the lead and ultimately the win.
In goal, freshman
Jocelyn Kramar (Fort Collins, Colo.) claimed her third shutout of the season with six saves while junior forward Adrianna Delgado (Wichita, Kan.) led the team with three shots on goal.
Up next for the Gorillas will be the beginning of a three-game home stand to end the regular season against the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos, Friday (Nov. 1) at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. (CT).
