ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Pittsburg State University women's basketball team rolled to a 93-79 victory over the University of Minnesota Crookston Saturday (Nov. 9) at the NSIC/MIAA Challenge.
 
Macie Mays led four Gorillas in double figures with a game-high 21 points on seven of 11 shooting from the field. She added six rebounds and a career best six assists in the contest.
 
Harper Schreiner filled her stat line with 17 points, a team-leading nine rebounds and a game high eight assists.
 
The Gorillas (3-1) recorded 24 assists in the game on 36 made baskets. Pitt State shot 55.4 percent from the floor, converting 36 of 65 attempts.
 
Grace Pyle (17) and Karenna Gerber (11) also scored in double figures for the Gorillas.
 
Willow Thiel led five Crookston players in double figures with 14 points.
