BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team wrapped up the first day of the NCAA Division II Midwest/Central Regional at the Katke Golf Course.
As a team, the Gorillas finished in 20th for the day at +258.
Cooper Forth (+6) and
Tyler Hardtarfer (+6) are tied for the team lead and sit in 70th,
Jack Randall (+8) and
Mason White (+8) are tied for 91st and
David Hobart (+11) rounds out the team in 107th.
Winona State leads the team standings (-4) after the opening 18 rounds. Manuel Cue from Grand Valley State and Ben Miller from Ferris State are tied for the individual lead at -5.
Teams will start play tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. (CDT) with the last group of individuals scheduled to begin the second round of action at 2:50 p.m.
