INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA released the third set of regional rankings for the NCAA Division II women's soccer season on Wednesday (Nov. 12) with Pittsburg State University coming in at No. 5 in the Central Region.
Ranking from first to tenth in the regional rankings are; Minnesota State - Mankato (15-1-2, NSIC), Bemidji State (13-2-3, NSIC), St. Cloud State (13-1-4, NSIC) and Washburn (11-3-5, MIAA), Pittsburg State (14-3-2, MIAA), Central Misosuri (10-5-4, MIAA), Missouri Western (10-2-7, MIAA), Concordia St. Paul (12-3-3, NSIC), Augustana (S.D.) (11-4-3, NSIC) and Central Oklahoma (9-5-5, MIAA).
The Central Region is comprised of schools from the MIAA, Great American Conference (GAC) and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), with each conference tournament champion receiving an automatic bid into the national tournament.
