KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The MIAA has released the bracket for the 2025 MIAA Women's Soccer Championship Wednesday (Nov. 5).
Pittsburg State University, which captured the MIAA regular season title earlier tonight with a 2-1 victory over Missouri Southern State University, earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and the Gorillas will play host to No. 8 seed Northeastern State University at 1 p.m. (CST) Sunday (Nov. 9) at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch in quarterfinal action.
The winner of that match will advance to the tournament semifinals next Thursday (Nov. 13) at Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, with the championship match to follow next Saturday (Nov. 15).
The Gorillas (14-2-2, 9-1-2 MIAA) and RiverHawks (11-6-1, 6-5-1 MIAA) met during the regular season on Oct. 5 in Pittsburg with Pitt State claiming a 1-0 win over NSU.
