Box Score HAYS, Kan. - The Pittsburg State University women's basketball team fell on the road in a non conference meeting with the Fort Hays State University Tigers on Saturday (Dec. 13), 88-70 at Gross Memorial Coliseum.
For the Gorillas (6-2),
Ja'Miya Brown finished with a career-high 25 points and a team-high eight rebounds, as
Marin Adams chipped in with 22 points to lead the scoring effort for the team.
Fort Hays State (8-1) was led by the Division II leader for points per game in Talexa Weeter with 32 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Brooke Loewe dished out a game-high 13 assists and became the Tigers career leader for assists, as Olivia Mortensen (19), Avery Lowe (12) and Mikayla Pilley (10) were the other members of the team to finish in double figures for points for FHSU.
