BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Pittsburg State Univesity men's and women's outdoor track & field athletes swept all four throwing disciplines at the SBU Bearcat Invitational Friday (Mar. 28) at Plaster Stadium.
Abby Lasiter posted individual discipline victories in both the women's shot put (44-6.25) and the women's hammer throw (168-4).
Cole Sample won the men's shot put (58-0.5) while teammate
Jack Haukap won the men's hammer throw (203-6). Both Sample and Haukap posted seasonal top five marks in NCAA Division II.
Addi Hinterweger added a second-place effort of 161-10 in the women's hammer throw; and
Brennan Boord placed third overall in the men's hammer throw (190-10).
At the Emporia State University Relays Friday,
Dapriest Hogans was clocked in the top time in Division II this season in the men's 200 meters (20.13).
Dakari Charlton also posted a fast time of 20.89 in the race. On the women's side,
Diandrenique Gaines (23.61) and
Jamiya Morgan (24.12) clocked fast times in the women's 200 meters.

At the WashU Distance Carnival at St. Louis, Mo.,
Paige Mullen ran the fastest time in D2 this season in winning the women's 5,000 meters in 16:06.86.
Matthew Oglesby secured a top 10 national time in the men's 5,000 meters (13:56.00), while
Jordan Kilonzo was clocked in a top 10 national time in the men's 800 meters (1:49.67).
Hogans (men's 200m), Kilonzo (men's 800m), Oglesby (men's 5,000m) and Mullen (women's 5,000m) all set new Pitt State records in their individual disciplines.
The SBU Bearcat Invitational and ESU Relays continue with day two action Saturday.
