Pitt State Included in First Set of NCAA Baseball Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA released the first set of regional rankings for the 2025 NCAA Division II baseball season – a list of 10 schools in each geogrpahic region in unranked alphabetical order – and Pittsburg State University was included in the Central Region list.
 
The Gorillas are one of four teams from the MIAA included in the Central Regional, which is comprised of the MIAA, Great American Conference (GAC) and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
 
Pitt State (33-8), Central Missouri (32-9), Central Oklahoma (31-13) and Fort Hays State (29-11) represent the MIAA on the Central Region list. The GAC is represented by Arkansas-Monticello (28-17), Arkansas Tech (25-19), Harding (34-12), Henderson State (27-18) and Southern Arkansas (29-16). The remaining school included on the "under consideration" list is Minnesota State (34-4) from the NSIC.

Starting next week, the NCAA will rank in order the top 10 squads in each region. Following conference postseason tournament action, the top eight teams in the Central Region will qualify for the 2025 NCAA Division II National Tournament
