PITTSBURG — Both the Pittsburg State University men's and women's golf teams will make their season debuts Monday (Sept. 8).
 
The Pitt State men will travel to Pierson, Mich., to take part in the Pilgrim's Run Invitational, Sept. 8-9, at Pilgrim's Run Country Club.
 
The meet is hosted by West Texas A&M University and the field includes Michigan State University and Miami (Ohio) University from the NCAA Division I ranks; Cedarville University, Davenport University, Ferris State University, Fort Lewis College, Northwood University, Saginaw Valley State University, the University of Texas Tyler, Tiffin University and WTAMU from Division II; and a pair of junior college programs.

The Pitt State women will make their program debut Sept. 8-9 in the Northeastern State University Classic in Tulsa, Okla., at Page Belcher Golf Course.
 
The NSU Classic will feature 16 teams, including the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, Missouri Western State University, Newman University, NSU and Rogers State University from the MIAA.
