Louisville, Ky. - The Pittsburg State softball team finished the 2026 campaign ranked No. 20 in the final NCAA Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 Poll on Tuesday (June 9).

Following a 48-11 overall record and third straight appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament, Pittsburg State was joined by conference foes Missouri Southern (5th), Central Oklahoma (11th) and Rogers State (Receiving Votes) in the national poll. Among teams in the Central Region, Missouri Southern, Central Oklahoma, Southern Arkansas (13th), Pitt State and Rogers State were featured.

Saint Leo, fresh of capturing the first Division II national title in program history was listed No.1 with McKendree jumping up to No. 2 following the championship series in Chattanooga, Tenn.
