PITTSBURG - The Pittsburg State University women's soccer team is adjusting the start time of the season opening match against the University of Missouri - St. Louis on Thursday (Aug. 27) to 10:30 a.m. (CT) at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch.

Entering their third year as a program, the Gorillas claimed the MIAA regular season title last fall and are returning eight All-MIAA performers. Head coach, Wes Branstetter was named the MIAA Coach of the Year after leading Pitt State to the regular season crown and a NCAA Division II National Tournament appearance in 2025.

To end the weekend the Gorillas are schedulded to play East Central University at 1:00 p.m., on Sunday (Aug. 30) at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch.
