WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team wrapped up the first day of The Mule at Mules National Golf Club in a tie for 12th as a team with a trio of Gorillas listed in the top 40 on Tuesday (Sept. 8).
Jack Randall and Dylan Wisner are tied for 25th at +3 (143), Randall went +3 (73) in round one before going even (70) to end the day, while Wisner had a +1 (71) first round before ending the day with a +2 (72) round two.
Tyler Hardtarfer (T-34th, +4, 144) completed the first round on par (70) before ending the day with a +4 (74) second round. Seth Benjaim (T-61st) and
Cooper Forth (T-83rd) rounded out the performers for Pittsburg State.Â
Central Oklahoma is the team leader at -18, with Central Missouri in second at -3. For UCO, Rhett Hughes, Will Whorton and Nicholas Canales are tied for the individual lead after -6 days.
To complete the opening tournament of the 2026-27 school year, the Gorillas will being third round action of The Mule on Wednesday (Sept. 9) at 9:00 a.m. (CT) from holes 7-10.
