2012 Biography

General: Second-year player… a talented cornerback who saw significant action as a true freshman in 2011… exited spring drills battling for a starting role for the Gorillas.

In 2011: Saw action in all 14 games… made 20 tackles (15 solo), 2.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 quarterback sack, one interception and nine pass breakups… logged five tackles and an interception in the NCAA-II semifinals vs. Delta State (Dec. 10)… returned a punt 19 yards for a touchdown vs. Missouri Southern (Nov. 12).

In High School: A three-time All-State performer at Hogan Prep High School (2008-10), earning All-State honors at defensive back in 2008 and 2010 and All-State honors at wide receiver in 2009 and 2010… caught 88 career passes for 2,498 yards (28.3 ypc) and 15 touchdowns… defensively, made 178 career tackles with 22 interceptions.

Personal: Born January 15, 1993… son of Hosea Bausby and Tasha Word… a marketing major.
