2012 Biography

General: Second-year player… a promising offensive line prospect… made the most of his redshirt season… will provide quality depth at guard for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2011: Redshirt season.

In High School: A three-time All-Sunflower League performer at Shawnee Mission West (2008-10)… a three-year starter for the Vikings… helped SMW to district and league titles…  also a stand-out wrestler for the Vikings.

Personal: Born September 2, 1992 ... son of William and Meredith Askren… a construction engineering technology major.
