Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Fifth-year player… a hard-working back who has matured into a frontline player for the Gorillas… a shifty runner who is expected to see extensive action in the Pitt State backfield again this fall… has 737 career rushing yards on 150 carries (4.9 ypc).

In 2011: Saw action in 11 games in a reserve role… carried the ball 105 times for 527 yards (5.0 ypc) and four touchdowns on the season… also caught four passes for 36 yards… carried the ball 17 times for a season-high 80 yards and a TD vs. Washburn in the NCAA-II playoffs (Nov. 26)… had 62 rushing yards and a TD in the National Championship Game vs. Wayne State (Dec. 17)… rushed the ball 55 times for 276 yards (5.0 ypc) and three TDs during the playoffs.

In 2010: Saw action in all 12 games in a reserve role… carried the ball 15 times for 48 yards (3.2 ypc) on the season… also had 10 punt returns for 57 yards (5.7 ypc).

In 2009: Saw action in eight games in a reserve role... carried the ball 30 times for 162 yards (5.4 ypc) on the season.

In 2008: Redshirt season.

In High School: A Kansas Class 4A All-State performer as a senior at Louisburg High School in 2007... rushed for 1,543 yards despite missing four games due to injury... helped the Wildcats to a 13-1 record and a 4A state runner-up finish his senior season.
