Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Second-year player … a talented “H” back who made an immediate impact for the Gorillas as a true freshman in 2011… expected to see significant action again this fall.

In 2011: Saw action in 13 games, including one start… carried the ball eight times for seven yards and five touchdowns in goal-line situations – all in the post-season… scored two TDs in consecutive playoff games vs. Washburn (Nov. 26) and vs. NW Missouri State (Dec. 3).

In High School: A first-team Texas Class 4A All-District performer at tight end as a senior at Red Oak High in 2010… also garnered second-team All-District honors at fullback for the Hawks… a three-year starter on the gridiron… also a two-time honorable mention All-District basketball player at Red Oak.

Personal: Born April 21, 1993… son of Mandel Dixon and Kellie Collins… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.00 GPA as an undeclared major.
