General: Second-year player… redshirted in his initial season at Pitt State after transferring from Dodge City Community College… a promising prospect who will provide quality depth at the safety positions.

In Junior College: Spent two seasons at Dodge City CC… a stand-out performer for the Conquistadors.

In High School: A two-time honorable mention Kansas Class 2A All-State performer at Saint Francis High (2007-08)… also an All-State basketball player and a state medalist in track & field for the Indians.

Personal: Born September 3, 1990… son of Pete and Alica Kinen… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.67 GPA as a physical education major.
