Box Score WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Arkansas Tech volleyball team bested Pitt State, 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18) in the first game of the Central Missouri Peggy Martin Classic in Warrensburg, Mo. on Friday (Oct. 5) afternoon.

Pitt State was led by senior Leah Flynn with 15 kills, as season high. Flynn also added two solo blocks. Fellow senior Brooke Fay added 11 kills and led the tema with four block assists. Nicole Rockhold added nine kills and shared the team lead in digs with 14. Paula Okrutna added eight kills, Crystal Whitten, six, and Haylee Gregory, four. Whitten also added 13 digs and two block assists. Wyatt added 14 digs, sharing the team lead in that category with Rockhold. Both of the Gorilla setters had at least 20 assists in the match. Becca Pearson led with 22 and Hayley Hansford added 20.

Arkansas Tech's Carly Florian led all players with 23 kills, while Morgan McKellar led in digs with 27. 

Pitt State returns to action on Saturday at 3 p.m. against tournament host Central Missouri.
