Box Score EMPORIA, Kan. -- The Gorilla Volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-13) to Emporia State on Saturday night. 

Pitt State hit just .020 to .327 for the match. The Gorillas tallied 21 kills, while the Lady Hornets had 33. ESU also outblocked the visiting team, but only by one, 8.0 to 7.0.

Brooke Fay led PItt State with five kills. Crystal Whitten, Leah Flynn and Haylee Gregory each added four. Jordan Rehm led the team with 10 digs.

Katie Deutschmann led all players with 12 kills for Emporia State and Meg Schwartz led with 15 digs.

The Gorillas return to John Lance Arena on Wednesday to face Southwest Baptist at 7 p.m.
