ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- The Lindenwood University baseball team rallied from an early 4-2 deficit to take a 7-5 win over Pittsburg State University Saturday (May 6) at the Lou Brock Sports Complex.
The Gorillas (23-26, 17-18 MIAA) and Lions (30-17, 23-11) will complete the three-game MIAA series and both squads' regular season schedule with a Noon game Sunday (May 7).
Pitt State needs a win over Lindenwood and a loss by Missouri Southern against Northeastern State to earn the No. 8 seed for the MIAA Postseason Tournament.
Andrew Vogelbaugh went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, home run and two RBIs to pace the Pitt State offensive attack.Â
Dallas Reed, Colton Pogue and Hunter Clanin all had two hits.
