PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University softball team will play host to Missouri Southern State University in an MIAA doubleheader Friday (Mar. 23) at the PSU Softball Complex. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. (CDT).

The Gorillas enter Friday's action with an 11-20 overall record and a 1-3 mark in MIAA play, while the Lions come in at 12-18 overall and 1-5 in league play. Both teams are looking to halt two-game slides.

Following Friday's match-up, Pitt State and MSSU will meet again Saturday (Mar. 24) in a non-conference twinbill at Joplin, Mo., at 2 p.m.
