PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University softball team's weekend action has been pushed forward a day due to local rain showers. The Gorillas will continue MIAA conference play this weekend with a pair of home doubleheaders Thursday and Friday (Mar. 29-30).
 
The Gorillas will host University of Nebraska-Kearney in a twinbill Thursday (Mar. 29) starting at 2 p.m. and then Pitt State will entertain Fort Hays State University Friday with games starting at 2 p.m.
