PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University softball team will travel to Bolivar, Mo. for a mid-week doubleheader against Southwest Baptist University. The Gorillas and Bearcats will face one another Tuesday (Apr. 10) with a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.  
 
Pitt State enters the series 17-26 overall and 7-7 in MIAA play. Pitt State is currently in seventh place in the MIAA standings. The Gorillas most recently split a pair against Northwest Missouri State University this past weekend.
 
Southwest Baptist (14-25, 4-10 MIAA) comes into the series looking to extend on a one-game winning streak. The Bearcats split a pair against Northeastern State University last Thursday (Apr. 5).
